the swiss experience

Zack and I made our way up a hill to the city walls, which we climbed up to see the view of Lucerne and its surrounding mountains. It was so beautiful! I haven't seen mountains that high since my family took a summer vacation one year to the Colorado/Wyoming area, but that was so long ago that I no longer had a clear image of how high the mountains can be. Especially compared to Scottish Highland hills, the Swiss Alps are monsters! The pictures just don't do them justice because it's hard to see the contrast between the puffy clouds and the snow-capped peaks, but at least they offer a small taste of Swiss mountain glory.
